Tri State Events

On Facebook

Thanks for joining! NYC is the center of the universe. No matter where you go in the world, you will meet someone from NYC.

I was born in Brooklyn. My dad worked for the architect that designed the Empire State Building. We moved out to Long Island so that he could start his own firm to build the buildings that Long Island would need. Schools, libraries, post offices, churches, airports, colleges... When he retired, he taught at NYIT.

I've watched Long Island grow my whole life. Then I married a Brooklyn Girl. She came out to Stony Brook to become a nurse. She had a pet care business downtown NYC. She worked the ER at Montefiore and St Lukes, Southampton and StonyBrook.

I organize races on long Island and occasionally in the city.

I've worked Central Park, Riverside Park, Battery Park, Throgs Neck at the Marine College, Roosevelt Island and north in Westchester. Next... Van Cortlandt Park, where I ran in High School.

My wife and I spend as much time we can in the city. I'm looking forward to spending some time in the Bronx as we both return in June. We hope we'll see you there!

Register for Knock Out Sarcoma 5K at Van Cortlandt Park on June 1.
