ONLINE REGISTRATION Beginning at 4:30 pm on the first day of registration, you can register online at riverheadrecreation.net. You must establish a family account before registering. MORNING WALK/RUN CLUB Wednesdays, Sept. 25-Oct. 23 OR Sundays, Sept. 29-Oct. 27 8:30-9:30 am START HERE! Walking is the best exercise for weight loss and good health. Need help getting started? Walk with us at the newly completed Veteran's Memorial Park Recreational Trail. All levels welcome, including strollers! Walking with a group of people will inspire you to keep going. We start with the basics. We start from where you are now. Your pace, your distance. You will be individually coached and supported. Our goal is to complete a 5K (3.1M) in 30 days. We'll also include an introduction to hiking. Location: Veterans Park Residents: $25 Non-residents: $35

MORNING BIKE CLUB Wednesdays, Sept. 25-Oct. 23 OR Sundays, Sept. 29-Oct. 27 7-8:30 am Start here! Join us either Wednesday or Sunday mornings on the newly completed Veteran's Memorial Park Recreational Trail for a group bike ride and training. All participants will be coached on biking safety and equipment. Certified helmet required. Location: Veterans Park Residents: $30 Non-residents: $40
BIKES AND BREAKFAST Sunday, September 29 9 am Kids, adults, families, bike lovers of all ages! Join us for a perfect Sunday morning: a leisurely bike ride and a picnic breakfast in the park. We'll enjoy the sights and sounds of the 9-mile EPCAL bike path and follow it up with a delicious breakfast of bagels and pastries from Bean & Bagel Cafe in Calverton. We'll have volunteers from the Alternate Transportation Committee available to help with pumping tires. Location: Veterans Park Ages: 7 and up Residents: $10 Non-residents: $15
HAUNTED BIKE RIDE Sunday, October 27 Noon-1:30 pm Dress up in your Halloween costume and join us on a spooky (ok, not-sospooky) haunted (ok, not-reallyhaunted) family bike ride! We'll wind through the EPCAL bike path, stopping along the way to trick-or-treat and listen to ghost stories. Drinks and snacks, as well as prizes for best family costume, will follow the ride. Location: Veterans Park Ages: 5 and up Residents: $10 Non-residents: $15
